eMarket Services, a non-profit project aimed at favoring the internationalization of SMEs through electronic markets, has announced the official presentation of its profiles on several social networks.

For now, the project has a profile on Facebook, a page on Twitter, the description and a group on electronic markets on LinkedIn, and its presentations are available through Slideshare. They also have the support of a blog in Wordpress in which they will offer a closer and more personal look at the latest topics in commerce and electronic markets.

On Facebook, they will provide the latest sector news, announce the publication of the latest reports, create training events for businesses, and conduct surveys and enable discussion forums to enable industry players to express themselves.

Twitter will be used as an immediate means of communication, providing up-to-the-minute information from the project: latest news, information bulletins, publication announcements for blog entries, etc.

"More than anything else, the goal is to get closer to businesses and the electronic markets, getting to know them and enabling them to get to know us. A the same time, we want to offer a neutral meeting for all involved so that, together, we can help this sector grow and improve", says eMarket Services Project Manager and Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade (ICEX) Assistant Director for Information and Publications Victoria Vera.

In addition, eMarket Services wants to become a clear point of reference on electronic markets. "No other public or private entity offers what we offer, and that is why it is important raise awareness and connect the image of eMS with the electronic markets in an unmistakable way", says Victoria Vera.
