Google Commerce Search, the online sales and purchasing search tool that was launched in 2009, now offers "greater control and better personalization options for sellers, and a better experience for buyers", the company has explained.
Some of the best include an improvement in browsing, which means one can now make purchases directly from the search engine, although it will also be possible to visit the seller's web page.
With this development, Google is trying to make itself the hub for eCommerce searches. For now, the 2.0 version is only available for sellers in the United States and United Kingdom.
